My journey into the world of scent began in 2009. Like many artisans, it started with a simple curiosity at a basement blending bench. That curiosity quickly evolved into an obsession with the "Art of the Blend." For the first six years, I lived in a cycle of trial, error, and meticulous documentation. I spent thousands of hours perfecting the trade—testing how notes interacted, how they aged, and how they performed under the heat of a flame or the complexity of a perfume base. I refused to settle for "good enough," driven by the conviction that a fragrance should do more than just smell nice—it should tell a story.

By 2015, those years of obsessive refinement transitioned into a professional reality. I founded our sister company, Wanderlust Scents, right here in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Since then, I have watched my custom-blended formulations travel across the globe. Today, these scents are carried by hundreds of retailers worldwide and have anchored our own flagship storefront in downtown Waupaca since 2021. I’ve spent nearly two decades learning what makes a fragrance sell, what makes it stay, and what makes it unforgettable.

I’ve always been more captivated by the 'how' than the 'what'—the architecture of a scent matters more to me than the label on the jar. I created this company to share the work of the blending table, opening up my personal library to help fellow artisans build their own unforgettable legacies.
